On Friday, October 30th, class 8-4 has invited everyone at Laurelwood to a Halloween Spirit day. They are asking staff and students to wear orange and black, create crazy hair styles and to decorate their face masks.  (School appropriate, please)
From the beginning of the year, the Health & Safety of our school communities has been a primary focus for all our students, staff and families.  Routines have been established in classrooms and schools in an effort to keep everyone safe. Through this vigilance, students have enjoyed a remarkable return to school and are benefiting from this hard work. Disruptions to routines and safety practices are risks we cannot afford to take.  Costumes and shared food, associated with Halloween, are incompatible with the guidance we have received from Public Health.

Let’s continue to create an environment where every child feels included, safe and valued.

Thank you for your continued cooperation and support.
