Laurelwood Public School opened in September 1998. It is one of over 103 elementary schools in the Waterloo Region District School Board. Laurelwood is a Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 school which provides instruction in either a French Immersion or English program.

Our school is located in the heart of the Laurelwood neighbourhood and borders a woodlot and neighbourhood park. We are especially proud of our outdoor learning circle, butterfly garden and outdoor creatives, which have all been created in partnership with our community.
