Distance Learning has taken on many forms for our students over these past few months.  Some have even taken to entering writing and math competitions during this time away from regular classes.  Recently, Jocelyn Dunnette, one of our grade 8 students, entered a writing competition about what her Canada is all about.   Her writing was awarded the top prize for her efforts!  Jocelyn has received $1000 for her work by The Great Canadian Holidays and Coaches organization.  This organization has also made a $250 donation to Nutrition For Learning in the name of  Laurelwood P.S.

Congratulations Jocelyn on receiving this award and wishing you continued success in your writing future!
