Dear Laurelwoods Public School Families and Neighbours, 

We are writing to inform you about the upcoming construction project that will be taking place on the school property.

The Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) has been actively working towards enhancing our facilities by submitting funding requests through the Ministry of Education’s Capital Priorities Program. 

In late 2020, the Ministry of Education approved the new construction of an addition to Laurelwood Public School. This addition will not only provide much-needed space for our growing student population but also enhance the learning experience by offering new learning environments. 

We assure you that the school will take every measure possible to minimize inconveniences and ensure the safety of our students and staff. The school will be implementing appropriate safety protocols. 

We understand that this may cause some inconvenience, but we assure you that the project aims to improve the learning environment for our students and staff. We thank you in advance for your understanding, patience and cooperation during this time.
