Hello Laurelwood!

Our Distance Learning is now kick-started and the wheels are in motion!  We are so excited to start the process of connecting and learning with you at home!

We have 3 goals for everyone this week:

  1. Students will be able to log in from home by the end of the week.
  2. Students will visit their  Google Classroom to become familiar with the learning platform by the end of the week.
  3. Students will continue learning activities from WRDSB@home this week.

To help you connect to your classroom/teacher, we have created an easy link on our school webpage https://lrw.wrdsb.ca/ under the tab  DISTANCE LEARNING at the top of the page.

Here you will find all the information you will need to get started!

For many of you, you are already familiar with accessing Google Classroom, See-Saw or your teacher’s email, so this will be a review for you.  For some of you this is a whole new beginning, so spend some time exploring the information and links your teacher has created for you.

We look forward to starting up the communication process with our students this week.  If you have any problems connecting – please email your child’s teacher to get the help you need.

Remember, that Friday and Monday are holidays and that lessons for your child will begin on these online platforms starting on Tuesday, April 14.
