Laurelwood P.S.  is a school full of amazing students.  Here are just a few that recently have been recognized for some significant accomplishments.

Julian Wang has recently served as a Page at Queen’s Park.  His work has helped the Provincial Legislature for these past few months and you can see him here with our own Member of Provincial Parliament, Catherine Fife.

Yasin Elkadri competed and won 1st place at the Professional Engineers Association of Ontario Mathletics competition held at the University of Waterloo.

Elspeth Forde  was selected to be the Mayor of Waterloo for the day based on her very insightful  presentation that she created to enhance and represent the City of Waterloo.  It involves a multimedia approach to welcome new immigrants to our city.  Council liked her idea so much that they are going to be implementing it into their plans for the future.
